Who we work with is important.

Cleo Chair (2020), Stine Aas (Bergen, Norway).
Design cannot help but express, we think, our values. Like any artistic medium, design evolves to mirror the social and political currents of its time. As age-old biases against women, people of color and the disparate “other” recede haltingly, Dims. has tasked itself with seeking out fresh, diverse voices in design, and championing their work to a broad audience.

We want the future of design to look different from its past.
In the face of fast imitation with little consideration for quality of life, we focus on the lasting, primary needs of our partners and customers.
Our work is intended to effectuate change — breaking patterns where useful, while composing a mosaic that is generous and celebratory.

We are pragmatists turned idealists.
We founded Dims. in 2018 with the modest goal of offering good design at the fairest possible price. Since then, the support of our customers, partners and advisors has emboldened us to seek a future for design that is dynamic, eclectic and equitable.
